I do not know why the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope have a problem with the reality of reincarnation. I suggest that you submit your second question to someone that is more qualified to answer it. :)

Channeling Michael was really fun last time, and I guess you enjoyed his answer since you're asking for more input from him again. So, here is the opinion of Michael, my guardian angel, on reincarnation:
There are many limiting factors of your world. Disease, gravity, language, carbon even. However, beyond this world rests another world. One that is not ruled by such physical elements. In that world anything is possible. These two worlds sometimes come in contact with each other, but as is the way with things like this, there are only certain ways that these worlds intermingle.
There are people that do the kind of thing that Shay does and there are people that do the kind of thing the President of the United States does. Both important jobs, but seen differently by the members of each world. The President keeps things running in your world and in a way Shay does too. There's some things the President can do, and there's some things Shay can do. Who's more powerful? That is a matter of perspective. Just as your question is. Your question is a matter of perspective. In the world I'm in, reincarnation is just looked at as another way to exercise our love. God gives us the power to do what we want if our objective is a loving one. - Michael
As much as I would love for Michael to just give me a long drawn out essay detailing the process of reincarnation, I think what he said takes care of the question anyway. Here, in this reality, we view things a certain way. In Michael's reality, things are much different. And, I guess what he's saying is that with love, anything is possible.
Maybe Michael and I haven't given you the kind of "secret to life" you were looking for, but I think that if you look at it differently, we have.
