There are so many people that have no idea what they want to do. They wander aimlessly from unfulfilling job to unfulfilling relationship and back again. You are one step ahead of those folks. You have a dream. This puts you quite a bit ahead of the game. You KNOW what you want to do! Here is my advice to you, and I hope that you are not surprised by it, because it is quickly becoming the wave of the future. Set up a webpage! You can put everything you create on to the page and share it with the whole world! You're wondering where you can learn how to set up a page of your own. I've got the answer to that question too. Go to Ziff-Davis University at www.zdu.com and sign up for one of their web design classes. They are relatively inexpensive and you do it ALL online.
One word of advice about webpages: I set this page up last July. I used the meager setup that came with my personal Internet account. I had already designed my own personal page a couple of years earlier, so I had some experience, but this page was different. My personal page was just for my friends or future friends, this new page was for the public. I started small. I submitted the page to a few search engines, I got about 10 or so hits a day and a couple of emails a week. Everything was working. Then I redesigned the page and made it look a little more pleasing to the eye. I paid for a domain name and I also paid for a service to submit my site to a bunch of search engines. It all cost me about $150, plus the additional $10 a month to my Internet Provider. I thought I was doing SO well. Then, NOTHING. I started to get like 4 or 5 hits a day, I didn't get an email for over three months and the most annoying thing was that I didn't know why everything had taken such a downturn. So I thought about it, and it occurred to me what was wrong. Out of all the search engines that my site was listed on, the one that it wasn't on was Yahoo!. So, about two months ago, I submitted my site to Yahoo!. A month later, they wrote me back and said that the site was listed. Oh man, could I tell the difference. In the last 2 weeks I've gotten over 2000 hits and I get on average 4 emails a day. I've gotten such a wonderful response that now I'm constantly working on the page to make it better and my "Need Replies" box is always full. I haven't figured out just yet how to efficiently handle my newfound traffic, but one thing is for sure, I'm much happier with it than without it.
The best part about the page is that I'm continually helping people to spread their own love, while spreading a little of my own, as well.
One more thing, don't worry about finding a new companion. I'm positive that someone awesome is just around the corner.
Love And Prayers, Shay
