Letter 49

Hello Shay,

I pray that you are well. I just came across your site, and I must say that I am very impressed. Your advice is a God send. I normally wouldn't write in but I felt compelled to do so. You see, I have been on this quest for knowledge in regards to GOD, LOVE, LIFE, ANGELS, SPIRITS, etc. I'm 29, but this has been going on ever since I was a small child. I have always been sensitive to many different presences around me. I also see auras and have out-of-body experiences, (I'm totally aware when I leave and return, sometimes I pick my destinations ahead of time). I also get premonitions although they are not always clear. Not only have I have been blessed with these wonderful gifts, but so has my 7 year old son. This is where my concern comes in. Dee (my son) has picked up this habit of eavesdropping. It's mainly in my thoughts, and other people's dreams. I've had a couple of people tell me that they have had very vivid conversations in their dreams with Dee. Although they report them as being peaceful, I wonder if it's wrong for him to do so. There has been times when Dee has told me that he has visited people that he has never met, but I have known them for years. I have spoken to him several times regarding this matter. While I don't want to discourage him from embracing his gifts, I would like for him to respect the privacy of others. Am I wrong to be so concerned with this matter? And is it unusual that his spirit friends, one in particular (Peter) goes everywhere with him, even to school? I thank you for your time.

Spiritual Privacy. It's a big issue: people wonder who you can talk to, what is okay to do and what isn't. I tend to believe that if you're spreading love, there is nothing wrong. Who can argue with a blessing or a hug? When you step in to protected ground, that is when things get hairy. Do something negative to the wrong person and you might never recover from it.

Since you've been doing these things for so long, you must know that there are repercussions for everything that you do. Send out something good, you get something good in return. Concentrate on negativity, and it could ruin your life. My opinion is that if you are teaching your son to spread Love and happiness, then there is nothing wrong with what he is doing. Make sure he understands that getting in to the wrong arena with the wrong people doing the wrong things will result in nothing but bad effects all across the board.

I see nothing wrong with a spirit friend accompanying him to school. In fact, I tend to believe that it is probably more for the better than for the worse. I believe that more because of the protective aspect of their relationship than anything else. When you know you're safe, like Dee does, you're just a happier person all around.
