I have the problem with my love situation. I haven't had much experience in the dating world. The girls whom I've loved before have just used me as a tool. They never treat me as a friend. They only want to be my friend when they need me or when they want to exploit me. I want a girlfriend who loves me, wants to be my soulmate, and who will also be loyal to me. I just want the experience of having a soulmate! Would you please help me?
Well, first off, I must suggest that you pray to Jesus and ask Him to send you the type of girl that would be best for you. For years, I dated the wrong kinds of women, always thinking that I had the power to decide which girl was right for me. It wasn’t until I decided to give Jesus the power and let HIM decide who was right for me, that I was actually able to find the girl I’m very much in Love with right now. Give Jesus the power to guide you and you will be lead to the right girl.
Also, I must suggest that you make some criteria and STICK TO IT! Don’t get involved with a girl that doesn’t meet every requirement you need a girl to meet! Don’t SETTLE! Wait till the perfect girl comes along and then go to it! Be courageous! Don’t let the opportunity pass you by!
When I met my girlfriend, I didn’t see at first what was so wonderful about her. I was a little hesitant to ask her out and I wasn’t quite sure if we had the kind of potential that a long term relationship needs. Then Jesus popped into my head and basically told me that I needed to work out of faith. I needed to take that "blind step forward", relying purely on my faith, in order to succeed. So I did what He told me, and a year and a half later we are still the picture of Loving bliss. Make sure that when you have the feeling that a girl is right for you…TRY! Don’t wait! Give it a shot and put your full faith in the Lord! He will take care of everything!
