Letter #8 Feedback

I visited your website and I was very impressed. I like the colors and the simple yet striking graphics. I like a clean look, too, and it makes for easier reading so that your words stand out instead of just a lot of pictures. Some people have lots of pictures but very little content. I like the box links on the left; that makes everything easily accessible.

I like the letters from people, with the very intuitive answers. I'm curious as to where your writers come from and how you steer people to your site. We're very new at all this and I'm just learning my way around the Internet. You're sort of the Angel Ann Landers, eh? I like the personal tone of the letters--getting people's most intimate thoughts--and the loving answers. I think you really have a good idea and will fulfill an important need for many. We make our questions more general because doing individual questions would be too much for Alan as he has so much to do answering all of these questions for the books. We already have our next book written, More Answers From Above, and then he's going to start on the next one. We plan to write books as long as people need answers.

Thank you for the comments about our page. We have only had our page up for about three months so it's nice to see that we are hooking up with others with similar ideas. We spent four years working on our book project and a couple of months with a designer creating the site. Our goal is to get our angels' messages to the world so that we all can move towards hope, peace, and unconditional love.

We haven't set up a links page yet, but we have been thinking about it. I'll have to ask our designer how to do that as I don't know much about the mechanics of the site. When we set it up, I would certainly include a link to
your site. Such a beautiful, loving site should be accessible to anyone who needs your words of wisdom.

One comment from the business part of me. Do you have any type of disclaimer on your site since you are dispensing advice to people in a sort of psychological capacity? You may want to do that as people nowadays tend to hold others responsible for their behaviors. This is an unfortunate situation but it is part of our world. We have a Rights and Disclaimers page to cover ourselves with this aspect. I don't like projecting that someone may give us trouble at some point, but better to be safe than sorry. If you can use anything from our Rights page, feel free to do so. It wasn't drawn up by an attorney (I just created from reading about what should be in it), but it offers some protection.

I think you have a wonderful web page and I wish you luck with it. I can see that you are truly helping those who most need it and your gift may literally save the lives of those you reach. Please check into our page and offer us
feedback at any time. We add a new question and answer every week and plan to continue doing so for the rest of our lives.

I get people to my site via search engines, word of mouth, and small postings I put up in newsgroups. At first I manually submitted the site to search engines, but then last week I found a service that is quite affordable that will do that from now on. They'll do a much better job of it, too, I believe. I'd like to get about a letter a day if I can. As it is, I'm getting about two a week, and some people don't want their letters and my responses posted, so I don't end up with the kind of volume that I'd like.

I also set up a small disclaimer on the opening page so people understand that what comes out of my mouth should not be interpreted as directly coming from God. Granted, I give good advice, but I should definitely not be mistaken for God him/herself. I also got a few letters from people asking me to give them "readings", so I put another disclaimer up explaining what I can and can't do, so people don't expect me to predict the future or anything. What I really do for people is interpret messages of love and give some advice in a loving manner. Your interpretation of me being the Angel Ann Landers wasn't far off.

Like you, I'm positive that I will be supplying this service to the world for the rest of my life.

I did put a link to your page in one of my letters, but now I feel that I should make a special section just for other angel-related pages.
