Letter 36

Dear Shay -

It has been a blessing for me to find your web page today. I was very depressed when I woke up this morning, to the extent that I even have pains in my body. Shay, I have been going through the toughest of time for the past three years.

I am the youngest of two daughters in my family. During the past three years, my family has been faced with the death of at least 7 close relatives, my older sister has lost two jobs and now my mother has just lost hers. My sister started her own company last year and was doing well for a while until recently, when for some inexplicable circumstances her company went down and has lost investors money which they are demanding urgently.

My mother has always been involved in the church and we strongly believe in God and spirit guides. Lately it seems as if there is no one listening to our prayers. In fact, it seems that the Devil hears our prayers and does exactly the opposite of what we ask for. Are we cursed? Will we ever get out of this mess?

I must say though, after I found your web page, I already feel like my prayers have been answered. I will now go pray and spread love to people.

In the world that we live in, absolutely anything is possible. So, when you ask me if you are cursed I'm inclined to say, "Its possible." However, being that anything is possible, I'm also able to say, "There's a way to change that." So, here's what we're going to do:

I'm going to send you help in the form of letters. Within a month you're going to get letters of different sorts that will provide you with what you need to help you out with your situation. I'm also going to explain something to you and it involves prayer.

Prayer can be easily explained. When you pray, you are setting up a request for something to be done. Just as if you were mailing away an order for a product to a company, your prayer works along the same lines. When you mail away a product order, you use the post office, email or fax. All of these services are completely reliable and pretty much foolproof. However, the prayer line is not like that. Depending on who you are and how you do it, every prayer does or does not contain the same reliability that these other forms of delivery contain. When you pray, you must set up the prayer in such a way that it will definitely get through. There are many ways to do this, and some guides about how to do it are included on this site at Letter#14: How to Pray.. and Letter#35: Angel Mail. Also, you must remember, prayers go through filters. Many, many filters. The filters are set up to weed out the prayers that are petty, useless, shallow, i.e. prayers that aren't worth any attention. Its hard to imagine something like that, but the folks who take care of your requests have trouble respecting prayers that don't have any real substance to them. The goal of any prayer that is going to be successfully handled HAS to be Love. One more thing to remember is that without the proper amount of power to send the prayer, it is hard to get it to the right destination. Here is where faith comes in. You must have faith in yourself and faith in God in order to create the kind of powerful energy that it takes to get a prayer through. In order to bolster your faith, I suggest meditative prayer and communication with Godly folks.

If you ever get too worried about what is going on in your life, remember that there is AT LEAST ONE angel who prays for you on a regular basis.
