Hi Shay,
I've recently become interested in angels. I have a big curiosity in wanting to know who my guardian angel is. How do I find him/her? I have come across weird supernatural stuff in the past. I see things but I know it can't be good because it makes me scared or angry. I was once told that it was bad spirits. I've had enough of the scary stuff, I just bought my first home and I really want my family and I to be surrounded by angels. What do I do?
To be truly in tune with the angels, it takes three things: prayer, Love, and peace. Those three factors alone, all by themselves, are all you really need in order to operate on the “Angel Wavelength” as I call it. Let me explain these to you so that you can truly enjoy your new house.
Prayer…this is a big part. A constant connection with the Lord is totally necessary in order to understand the angels and to feel them around you. I pray several times a day, specifically spending a few good minutes in prayer in the morning and at night. I also do a special kind of prayer called “Blessings”, which you can read about on the Angelic Advice main page. These blessings can really help get your mind working the way the angels work. If you need help with prayer, I suggest contacting a Christian organization of your choice and also checking out Letter #14 in the Angelic Advice Letter Index. Love. This is a given. You must actively work at spreading Love. Blessings help with this as does hugging your Loved ones, as well as new people that you meet, as often as possible. Hugs are truly a gift from God. They are a message to both the giver and the receiver. They say that God is truly with us. As long as we have arms and a big heart, we can show others that we Love them. So…in short…hug as much as you can…and make sure to tell your Loved ones that you Love them as often as possible.
Peace. This is probably the most challenging part. You must be able to come out of the day. Your mind must be able to completely disassociate itself from all other factors in your life. You must be able to leave the physical world behind and go off to that distant area of the world that so few people truly get to. And the only way to do this is through deep meditation. I do my best to fit in an hour of meditation a day, but even if you can only manage 15 minutes, or even 5 minutes, that’s better than nothing. Now, for me to try and explain meditation to you in a paragraph would be silly, so instead I’m just going to urge you to look into the subject. There are many, many books on it. So shop around, pick out the one that appeals to you, and dive in!
If you pay attention to these three factors and work at putting them into your life, your communication with your angels WILL improve. You will find yourself seeing their Love and being able to truly spot ways in which you can be a part of their world!
